Bussy-le-Repos
Bussy-le-Repos, located in the Gâtinais, on the Yonne valley, is an extended town (23,7 km²), mainly agricultural: half of the space is dedicated to cultures and the other half to woods and habitations.
The Saint-Pierre church (XIII-XVth century) is architecturally beautiful and houses some quality religious pieces of art. The town hall, built at the end of the XIXth century, is a real esthetical curiosity: the building has been designed by the architect Paul Sédille, who also designed Le Printemps stores in Paris.
In Montgomery, 22 ceramic kilns were discovered in 1936 and the Château des Jolis Vaux is the family residence of the philosopher Joubert.
